Founded in April 2001 by the current owners (themselves armed with over 25 years' experience as catering equipment suppliers in Lancashire), Port Catering has enjoyed steady growth, building solid foundations to meet the needs of tomorrow's foodservice industry.
A key factor in Port Catering's success is the ongoing investment in personnel with the skills necessary to complete any type of installation, along with the foresight to add young apprentices and so prepare the team for the future. This approach has earned the company an excellent reputation in the industry as a Lancashire catering equipment supplier of considerable note.
Since its inception, and in conjunction with various design partners, Port Catering has successfully completed an extensive and impressive portfolio of project installations including the Quads stand at Manchester United Football Club, Arsenal Football Club's Emirates stadium and North Bridge Headquarters, and the refurbishment and new stands at Ascot and Aintree racecourses.
Closer to home, we have worked as designers, project managers and procurement partners on refurbishments at Wyre Borough Council's staff restaurant and ICI Fluoropolymers' Staff Mess Rooms. This diverse range of projects demonstrates our flexibility; indeed, while we frequently work as Lancashire catering equipment suppliers, we have much more to offer besides.
Our on-site engineers are supported by our highly motivated, well trained office staff who ensure that clients receive the ongoing care and advice that is so important in the catering industry.
Port Catering's membership of the Catering Equipment Distributors Association and our ongoing commitment to its Customer Charter, as well as our membership of CORGI (the Council Of Registered Gas Installers) and Federation of Small Businesses only serves to cement the quality of our workmanship and our commitment to achieving the highest standards as Lancashire catering equipment suppliers.
